Cat Medals are collectable though elusive medals found in both Blinx games that can unlock special movies and items as the player collects them.
Blinx: The Time Sweeper[]
In Blinx: The Time Sweeper, they come in 4 different colours; red, blue, silver, and gold. There are 80 Cat Medals hidden throughout the entire game. Most levels have three cat medals, but a few of them have four. Boss levels, however, do not have any cat medals. Although it is not necessary to collect cat medals to progress through the game, they unlock prizes, which are usually short clips, which usually consist of Tom-Toms doing stunts, or concept art from the game. Collecting every single one will unlock the TS-X7, a special Sweeper that can sweep up any type of trash very quickly, attacks with fire and ice, and sweeps fire, water, and sand. The TS-X7 costs 90,000G and is available at the Round 9 shop.
They are sometimes in chests, but usually hidden in the open, amongst trash or behind massive weights that require a Lv. 3 Sweeper to sweep out of the way. A few medals also require the use of specialised Sweepers that can sweep up water and fire to access them, such medals being found in Deja Vu Canals and Forge of Time respectively.
Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space[]
In Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space, the number of Cat Medals in the stages have been increased to six. There are still 80 In the entire game, however. Two more colors have been added; green and purple (purple seemingly being the rarest of them all). Most of them can be acquired in 1P mode, the rest only being available in 2P Co-Op mode and Jimmy's shop.
Successfully collecting them all will unlock the TS-X9 LV3.
